Collaboratory Research Hub

What is Collaboratory?

CRH-UPCollaboratory is a pioneering 8 year, £7.4m project supported by Research England. Led by Nottingham Trent University, and the University of Nottingham as part of the Universities for Nottingham partnership, this ground-breaking research hub has recently been awarded funding to expand into Leicestershire and Rutland. Now encompassing the University of Leicester, 777ӰԺ, and Loughborough University as part of the Leicester Universities Partnership, researchers across the region are working in partnership with community organisations to address and find solutions to pressing local challenges.

Collaboratory brings together researchers, community groups and local people to deliver meaningful change for our communities through research. Over the course of eight years, we will train 50 PhD candidates through a programme of locally relevant, challenge-based research.
